Preorders are being taken now at Amazon.com on a first come, first served basis. Then the product deliveries will commence on November 15, 2011. This timing is perfect for Christmas and you might like to consider one of these Kindles as a Christmas gift for your spouse or for one of your children. Students love these mobile devices because they can read on them. Then, to relax, they can later watch a movie or catch a Youtube video on the Wifi.
I am impressed by the low price of $199. It is a lot cheaper than the Apple iPad 2. It is also more compact and runs on a modified version of the Google Android mobile operating system.
The CPU is a dual core and like most androids I’m sure you’ll find it fast – as with most of Google’s products.
All in all, I have two (2) thumbs up this time for the hot new Kindle tablet. Thank you.
